CHICAGO — A man was shot in West Garfield Park Thursday afternoon.
The shooting occurred about 2:50 p.m., and the man was shot several times in his abdomen in the 4300 block of West Van Buren Street. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition, said Officer Veejay Zala, a police spokesman.
No further details were immediately available.
