LINCOLN SQUARE — Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan is bringing his indie wrestling company Resistance Pro to Amundsen High School Saturday for a fundraiser that's doubling as a reality show taping.

He had us at steel cage match.

"Big Daddy Cool" Kevin "Diesel" Nash, six-time world champion and WWE legend, will make a special appearance at "Caress of Steel," Resistance Pro's second anniversary celebration. Did somebody say jackknife powerbomb?

Fifty percent of the net profit from ticket sales will go to Amundsen, along with 100 percent of concession proceeds.

"We stand to make some big bucks and have a lot of fun," said Amundsen principal Anna Pavichevich. "It will be great exposure for the school if we can get members of the community to come."
