LAKEVIEW — GrubHub's cameras will be shining on Lakeview this week.
The Chicago-based Internet food delivery service plans to film a commercial in south Lakeview on Wednesday and Thursday, Ald. Scott Waguespack (32nd) informed residents in an email alert.
Residents should take note of parking restrictions between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
The east side of Ravenswood Avenue from Nelson Street to Wellington Avenue will be closed to parked cars, as will the south side of Nelson Street from Wellington Avenue to Paulina Street.
A call to the Chicago Film Office for more details about the commercial has not been returned.
A recent spate of filming in the city has irked some residents who have bemoaned periodically lost parking, but more camera crews create a boost for the city's economy, the film office has said.
In 2012, TV and film productions generated $184 million in local spending and created 2,200 jobs, and the city is set to break a record in 2013 with such big-budget movies as "Jupiter Ascending" and "Transformers 4."
