LINCOLN SQUARE — When it comes to autumn color, New England's got nothing on Lincoln Square, which will be ablaze in shades of red and white during the neighborhood's annual Fall Wine Stroll.

Nearly 40 businesses will be pouring samplings of various wines as well as serving up small plates during the event, 6:30-9:30 p.m., Nov. 7, sponsored by Provenance Food & Wine.

Four separate routes have been established: three are centered on Lincoln Avenue, the fourth makes stops along Damen, Montrose and Ravenswood avenues. Sip a chardonnay or pinot noir among unusual settings like Alapash Terrariums, Spex and Steve Quick Jewelers — though really, what goes better with diamonds than a sparkling wine.

Purchase tickets for one of the four routes for $40, or all four routes for $60.

Guests opting for the Lincoln Square routes must check in at DANK Haus, 4740 N. Western Ave., the night of the event. Check-in for the Ravenswood route is at Perfect Cup, 4700 N. Damen Ave., or Lillstreet Loft, 4437 N. Ravenswood Ave.
