LINCOLN SQUARE — Move over ice cream, hot dogs are the new a la mode.

Paula Haney of Hoosier Mama Pie Company and Doug Sohn of Hot Doug's are joining forces 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Book Cellar, 4736 N. Lincoln Ave., where they'll be signing copies of their new books.

More importantly, samples will be served.

Haney's "Hoosier Mama Book of Pie" not only includes recipes but also tips on pie making techniques, like how to roll the perfect pie dough.

"Hot Doug's: The Book" features photos, anecdotes and an entire section devoted to customers who've inked themselves with a Hot Doug's tattoo, which entitles the "wearer" to free hot dogs for life.
