LINCOLN SQUARE — If you've been desperate to get your hands on some of Savory Spice Shop's exotic cubub berries, your wait is almost over.
"Coming soon" to Lincoln Square since May, the shop has finally announced an opening day: Sept. 14.
Construction on the storefront, formerly home to Sprout at 4753 N. Lincoln Ave., began in earnest in mid-July with the shop's entryway reconfigured and the old carpeting consigned to the trash bin.
Founded by a pair of former Lincoln Square residents who now call Denver home, Savory Spice Shop specializes in proprietary spice blends and stocks everything from basics like cinnamon to lesser known items like the aforementioned berries.
The spice shop also recently posted full- and part-time job openings. Prior retail or customer service experience is helpful, as is a flexible schedule. Interested individuals should submit a resume and cover letter, specifying interest in full- or part-time employment, to lincolnsquare@savoryspiceshop.
