CHICAGO — A teenager was one of two people shot across Chicago Saturday morning, police said.
In Austin, a 25-year-old man was shot in his stomach and leg about 11:30 a.m. in the 5900 block of West Fulton Street. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition, police said.
Earlier, a 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg about 10:10 a.m. in the 7300 block of South May Street in Englewood. He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in stable condition, police said.
The victim had documented gang ties, and the shooting may have been gang-related, police said.
