LINCOLN PARK — This year's Taste of Lincoln Avenue festival will be headlined by Canadian rockers Loverboy and Dave Davies of The Kinks.
Taste of Lincoln Avenue is celebrating its 30th anniversary along Lincoln between Fullerton and Wrightwood with more than 35 music acts on four stages.
The festival, which is scheduled for July 27-28, will also feature a free arcade games area hosted by Lakeview's Headquarters Beercade.
The area hosted by Headquarters Beercade will include craft beer sales.
Other notable music acts playing the fest include Red Wanting Blue and Chicago-bands Gemini Club, Company of Thieves and Fillagar.
The festival will include a dance music stage at the Wrightwood end of street with DJs Sound Remedy, Tommie Sunshine and a set by indie-rockers Shiny Toy Guns.
A fourth stage will host cover bands such as Wedding Banned and Sixteen Candles.
For the kids, the festival will have a free carnival area with inflatables, a petting zoo, pony rides and art activities.
Hours for the festival are noon to 10 p.m. and the suggested donation for adults is $10.
