CHICAGO — More than 22 years after playing what was billed as their final show ever in Grant Park, The Replacements will return to Chicago in September for a reunion show during Riot Fest in Humboldt Park.

Riot Fest released most of its 2013 lineup last month, but was holding out for one big headliner. Organizers of the three-day music festival and carnival announced the addition of The Replacements on Facebook Wednesday night. Other headliners include Blink 182 and Fall Out Boy.

Riot Fest will be held Sept. 13-15 in Humboldt Park.

The Violent Femmes, Motorhead and Rancid round out the top billings, followed by a roster of punk, post-punk, metal and hip-hop greats, including Blondie, Gwar, Bad Brains, Public Enemy and one of two Black Flag reunion bands, Flag.

Pitchfork reports that original Replacements members Paul Westerberg and Tommy Stinson will be playing the Humboldt Park show, but Riot Fest has not confirmed who will fill out the band. Guitarist Slim Dunlap had a stroke last year, according to Pitchfork.

Sublime with Rome, AFI and Guided By Voices are among some of the other big names slated to perform at the fest, as well as Bad Religion, Dinosaur Jr. and Devotchka.

The lineup can be found on Riot Fest's website. Tickets start at $23 per day, and three-day passes can be bought here for $149.98.
