CHICAGO — A man died early Tuesday after being shot in East Garfield Park in March, officials said.
Zenon Santiago-Hernandez, 44, was shot in the neck just after 4 p.m. March 17 in the 600 block of South Sacramento Boulevard, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Another man, 22, was shot in the shoulder in the same incident, police said.
Santiago-Hernandez was pronounced dead at 2:05 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Sinai Hospital. He was homeless, according to the medical examiner's office.
