CHICAGO — Four people were shot near the 47th Street Green Line Station Wednesday night, police said.

The victims were shot about 5:48 p.m. in the 300 block of East 47th Street in Bronzeville, police said.

A 15-year-old boy was taken to Comer Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and a man was taken to University of Chicago in stable condition, fire officials said.

Another adult was taken to Stroger Hospital in an unknown condition, according to fire officials.

Police said the victims inlcuded two male teenagers, one female of an unknown age, and another person of an unknown age and gender.

A bullet hole in a Cricket cell phone store could be seen where residents said the woman was shot.

One boy was shot in the buttocks and the other in the shoulder, and all four victims were in stable condition, police said.

Earlier in May, Columbia College student Kevin Ambrose, 19, was fatally shot on the same block.
