CHICAGO — A man working on an Albany Park roof suffered a fatal fall Friday, police said.
Alfons Dzieszuta, 55, of the 100 block of Bonnie Brae Avenue in Mount Prospect, fell from a building in the 4400 block of North Bernard Street about 5 p.m., officials said. The building appeared to be two stories high.
Dzieszuta was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:38 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Police said the case was being pursued as a death investigation.
