CHICAGO — Police are searching for a man who made sexually explicit statements to two 11-year-old girls as they walked to school Friday morning.

The man approached the girls and made conversation with them in separate incidents between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. in the 4300 block of West Argyle Street, police said in a community alert.

The man then made sexually explicit statements to the children. He walked eastbound after the incidents, police said.

The man is described as Hispanic, between 20 and 30 years old, standing between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-11, weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. He has unkempt black hair and facial stubble, officials said.

The man was wearing a white-and-grey checkered hoodie, blue jeans and white gym shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Special Investigations Unit at 312-492-3810.

The man is wanted for indecent solicitation of a child.
