CHICAGO — A construction worker was injured after part of a building collapsed on the South Side Monday morning, the Chicago Fire Department said.
The worker suffered injuries when a wall of a building collapsed in the 800 block of East 46th Street in Kenwood shortly before 11 a.m., fire department spokesman Larry Langford said.
The nature and severity of the victim's injuries was not immediately known. The worker was taken to a local hospital from the incident, Langford said.
