CHICAGO — A man and boy were shot Saturday morning in Washington Park, police said.
The man and boy were behind a residence in the 5300 block of South Prairie Avenue about 9:39 a.m. when an unknown gunman approached and opened fire, said Officer Veejay Zala, a police spokesman.
The two victims sustained non-life-threatenening injuries, Zala said.
No one is in custody, he said.
