CHICAGO — A man was shot in the leg in a drive-by shooting in North Lawndale Friday night, police said.

The 22-year-old man was standing on a corner about 6:56 p.m. in the 4000 block of West 16th Street when a van pulled up, said Officer Daniel O'Brien, a police spokesman.

Shots were fired from the van before it drove away, and the man was hit in the leg, O'Brien said.

The vicitm was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, O'Brien said.

Two other shootings Friday afternoon wounded three people, including a person shot by police after an incident in Calumet Heights.
