CHICAGO — A man and woman were in serious but stable condition after being shot in Chicago Lawn Tuesday evening, police said.
The shooting occurred about 5:40 p.m. in the 3000 block of West 64th Street, said Officer Daniel O'Brien, a police spokesman.
A 31-year-old woman was shot in the arm and abdomen and a 21-year-old man was shot in the back and side, O'Brien said.
The man was taken to Advocate Christ Hospital and the woman to Mount Sinai Hospital, fire officials said.
