BRIDGEPORT — Like any good holiday, Super Bowl Sunday in America is a time to gather and feast, and more than a few local establishments are getting into the spirit with food and drink specials. Here's a look at what's being offered around the neighborhood:

Buffalo Wings and Rings
The South Halsted Street wing, beer and sports palace will show the game on its 23 TVs and two video projectors while slinging $9 Miller and Coors pitchers and $3.50 shot specials. They’re also accepting pickup orders for wings — no maximum. Call ahead to place an order. 3434 S. Halsted St. 773-579-WING (9464)

Punky’s Pizza and Pasta
The homestyle pizza, sandwich and pasta joint is offering 10 percent off all catering orders over $100. 2600 S. Wallace. 312-842-2100

Schaller's Pump
The old-school restaurant stays old school with complimentary snacks — wings, popcorn, chips and salsa, veggie trays — for patrons of the tavern. 3714 S. Halsted St. 773-376-6332

Fabulous Freddie’s on 31st
Fourteen-inch, one topping pizzas for $10 and 10 percent off the catering menu, which includes game-day favorite chicken wings, Italian beef, fried chicken, ribs, pasta dishes and salad. Ordering from the catering menu? Give 24 hours notice. 701 W. 31st St. 312-808-0147

Pleasant House Bakery
With a special one-day only Buffalo Chicken Royal Pie — boneless chicken in a rich, hot sauce stew, topped with blue cheese — the traditional British meat pie gets a spicy makeover worthy of American sports fandom. They're also creating a special chili cheese "fiver" pie, a smaller $5 version of their royal pie stuffed with steak and root vegetable chili and cheese. Both will be available in store and for take-and-bake pickup. Pre-orders taken through Friday. 964 W. 31st St. 773-523-7437

Mitchell's Tap
All-you-can-eat Italian beef, sausage and pepper sandwiches and mostaccioli, plus an open bar with call drinks and beers under $4 — all for $25, from the start of the game until the end. Want to guarantee a table? Pay $20 in advance. 3356 S. Halsted St. 773-927-6073

Maria’s Community Bar
In a nod to the Super Bowl’s host city New Orleans, bartenders will serve up Big Easy-inspired cocktails such as Sazerac and Hurricanes while underground purveyors of smoked meats Flesh For Food kick out a low country boil — shrimp, sausages, potatoes, corn and Old Bay seasoning— for $10 per serving.  The big game will be screened on the bar’s video projectors. 960 W. 31st St. 773-890-0588

Nana
Win or lose, there’s always fried chicken. Every Sunday from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Nana hosts a big Sunday Supper with Gunthorp Farms fried chicken, homemade buttermilk biscuits, jalapeno slaw, macaroni and cheese and a house relish tray. $22 per person. 3267 S. Halsted St. 312-929-2486
