CHICAGO — A man was in critical condition after being shot three times Tuesday afternoon in South Shore, fire officials said.
The 21-year-old victim was shot in the lower abdomen, groin and thigh about 4:30 p.m in front of 2870 E. 79th St., officials said.
A manager of the nearby Sair Way Food Mart and Wireless who didn't want to be named said he heard three shots.
The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital, fire officials said.
