But the Elks National Memorial will be open, along with the high-rise rooftop at 2650 N. Lakeview Ave.

Ten sites from Bridgeport and Back of the Yards will be open to visitors during the citywide event.

A fundraiser for cats, a chili cook-off, Open House Chicago and more are on the docket for this weekend.

The tour will open up six buildings across Portage Park and Old Irving Park Saturday and Sunday.

This year's installment of Open House Chicago is set for Oct. 15-16.
