Born: November 29, 1959

Rahm Emanuel is the 55th Mayor of Chicago. He was elected in 2011 after serving as Chief of Staff for President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2010. Emanuel, a Chicago native and member of the Democratic Party, also previously served as a a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Illinois' 5th congressional district from 2003 to 2009. He lives in Ravenswood with his wife, Amy Rule, and their three children.
