Political pollsters explain how they separate the signal from the noise to figure out how the public feels about hot-button issues.

The panel includes Mark Blumenthal, senior polling editor of the Huffington Post and the founding editor of Pollster.com; Democrat pollsters Anna Greenberg and Mark Mellman; and Bill McInturff, a Republican pollster.
