A "Giro D'italia" 5-course dinner with matching wine progressions is planned for both Enoteca Roma, 2146 W. Division St. in Wicker Park and Letizia's Fiore at 2456 N. California Ave. in Logan Square.
Named after the GIro D'italia yearly bicycle race that travels throughout Italy, this "culinary Giro d'italia, " offers a unique specialty from five different regions of Italy.
The dinner ("Omnivore" and vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available) is $65 per person including the Food and wine. There are three seatings, at 5 p.m., 7:30 and a 10 pm. The first two seatings are for people that want to spend midnight at home, bar or club, while the third seating goes to midnight and includes a champagne toast and warm muffins baked at midnight to enjoy New Year's day morning at home.
