Dogs and their owners get a chance to scoot a boot, or their paws, at the seventh annual Animal Magnetism fundraising gala for PAWS Chicago. It's at 7 p.m. Friday at Galleria Marchetti, 825 W. Erie Street. Tickets start at $125 a person ($150 at the door) and $25 a dog. Disc jockey Angi Taylor and former Chicago Bear Jerry Azumah play host.
