The 46th Ward Zoning and Development Committee is meeting on Monday at the Weiss Memorial Hospital auditorium, 4646 N. Marine Dr.

The public can attend the meeting, where the advisory committee created by Ald. James Cappleman (46th) will discuss developments proposed in the ward, including a $3 million plan to convert the former Jane Addams Hull House building, 4520 N. Beacon St., into market-rate apartments and a $230 million proposal from JDL Development to build luxury apartments in a tax incremental finance district by the lakefront.

Cuneo Memorial Hospital, an architectural treasure to preservationists, would be demolished under the JDL plan, which seeks about $32 in TIF funds.
