DOUGLAS — Police are searching for as many as three men who are believed to be pushing people down on the street and robbing them in Douglas.

Police issued an alert Monday after three separate reports in three days of as many as three men pushing people down, robbing them and running away in Douglas.

The first instance happened at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of East 35th Street.

There were then two more reports of robberies on Sept. 29, the first happening at 8:40 a.m. on the 3500 block of South State Street and then another at 3:20 pm. On the 100 block of East 42nd Street.

Police were unable to provide an identifying description of any of the three men allegedly involved in the robberies, but said a beige sedan was used in one of the robberies.
