GARFIELD PARK — A 22-year-old man was shot on the East Garfield Park early Sunday, police said.
At 12:47 a.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 2600 block of West Wilcox Street when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.
The man was hit in his back and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
The shooting might be gang-related, a police source said.
No one was in custody.
