ARMOUR SQUARE — Tickets to SoxFest 2018 go on sale Thursday, the team announced.

The 26th annual fan convention will be held Jan. 26-28 at the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan Ave. Tickets for the fest go on sale to the public Thursday, Sept. 6, but fans have a number of other ways to secure tickets and hotel packages early.

The White Sox will hold a special pre-sale for fans who signed up for its priority list. Those fans will get an email link to purchase tickets at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Fans can sign up for the priority list by emailing soxfest@chisox.com before 5 p.m. Friday.

On Wednesday, season ticket holders will be able to purchase pre-sale tickets to the fest, as will Sox Pride Club and Black List members, the team said.

Weekend passes to the fest will be $40 for adults and $10 for kids ages 4-13. SoxFest hotel packages at the Hilton Chicago are $286 for a two-night stay.

Last year's fest included the signing of 16,000 autographs and nearly 3,500 photos with fans, the team said. There will also be question-and-answer sessions, games and "interactive spaces," the team said in a news release. A schedule of  players and events is released closer to the event.
