BRONZEVILLE — Burglars tried to get into businesses on Cottage Grove Avenue by smashing the front window just after the Fourth of July holiday, according to police.
Police sent out an alert July 8 that burglars broke into businesses on Cottage Grove Avenue on July 5-7 by breaking front or side windows and taking things.
Businesses on the 4800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue were burglarized on July 5 and July 6 between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Another business on the same block was burglarized at approximately 5:40 a.m. on July 7, according to police.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Area Central Bureau of Detectives at 312-747-8380.
