CHICAGO — A 27-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run in Garfield Park early Sunday, police said.
At 12:20 a.m., the woman was standing next to a parked car in the 4500 block of West Washington Boulevard when a red car speeding by hit her, police said.
The woman was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was pronounced dead police said.
The driver of the speeding car left the scene, police said, and no one was in custody.
