CHICAGO — A 28-year-old man was shot to death in Auburn Gresham on Tuesday night, police said.
At 6:22 p.m., officers were called to the 8900 block of South Morgan Street and found the man in the driver's seat of a parked car, police said. The man had been shot in his head and torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was identified as Juard Ford, of the 9000 block of South Carpenter Street, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Ford was pronounced dead at 6:48 p.m. and an autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshots wounds in a homicide.
The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.
No one was in custody.
