COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — A Northwest Side man tried to lure a 15-year-old girl on a CTA bus with a sexually-explicit post-it note, prosecutors said Thursday.

Joseph Grigoletti, 30, was arrested on a similar charge in suburban Hinsdale in DuPage County earlier this month and released on $1,500 bail.

"We do things a little differently here in Cook County," Cook County Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr. said during a bond hearing Thursday at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse, 2650 S. California Ave. "Your bail is set at $500,000."

According to prosecutors, Grigoletti was riding a CTA bus in the 4900 block of North Milwaukee Avenue on March 24 when he pressed a post-it note onto a 15-year-old girl's leg.

The note said, "Give me a call or snap me if you're into an older man with a big c--- and will show you a good time," according to Assistant State's Attorney Joseph Carlson. The note included Grigoletti's cellphone number and Snapchat user name.

Grigoletti then exited the bus. He and the girl had had no prior interaction, prosecutors said.

The girl reported the incident — which was captured on CTA surveillance footage — to her parents, who called police, Carlson said. An investigative alert was issued.

Grigoletti was arrested June 1 in Hinsdale following a similar incident there in May, according to authorities.

In that case, Grigoletti is accused of approaching a 15-year-old girl with a note that said, "Dear stranger, you have an amazing body and cute hair. I'm willing to bet you're due for a good hard f---." The note continued with sexually graphic language about a potential rendezvous in a Chicago hotel. Grigoletti included his phone number, prosecutors said.

He was charged in DuPage County with disorderly conduct and obscenity; bail was set at $1,500. His next court date in DuPage County in July 12.

Grigoletti, of the 5800 block of North Napoleon Avenue, is now charged in Cook County with indecent solicitation and attempting to lure a child. The girl Grigoletti approached on the CTA bus identified him in a photo array, authorities said.

An arrest report lists Grigoletti as an accountant. His public defender said Grigoletti, who has no prior criminal history, is currently working toward his master's degree.
