CHICAGO — A person's body was found in the Garfield Park Lagoon on Monday, police said.
At 1:38 p.m., an unidentified person was found in the water in the 100 block of North Central Park Avenue, police said. The person was unresponsive.
No further information was immediately available.
In September 2015, the body of 2-year-old Kyrian Knox was found in the lagoon. A suburban man was later charged with murder in the boy's death.
