63-Year-Old Woman Sexually Assaulted In Armour Square, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 63-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Armour Square on Monday night, police said.

At 8:20 p.m., the woman was in the 2600 block of South Wentworth Avenue when a man walked up to her from behind, pulled down her pants and groped her, according to a Chicago Police community alert. The man pushed the woman to the ground and ran away.

The man was Latino, 45-50 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 and weighed 250 pounds, police said. He had short black hair and wore a black jacket with camouflage pants.
