CHICAGO — Two men were killed and a woman was wounded in a shooting at a party in Woodlawn early Saturday morning, police said.
Two gunmen entered a party in the 6500 block of South Drexel Avenue and fired shots into a crowd at 12:53 a.m., police said.
A 20-year-old man was shot in his face and body, police said. Lance Jeffersons, of the 5200 block of South Prairie Avenue in the Washington Park neighborhood, was pronounced dead at 1:05 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
A 37-year-old man was found dead at the scene after being shot in his chest, police said. Samuel Head III, of the same block where he was killed, was pronounced dead at 1:04 a.m., according to the Medical Examiner's Office.
Autopsies showed the men died of multiple gunshots wounds in homicides.
A 29-year-old woman was grazed by a bullet in her thigh and was in good condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
