CHICAGO — Bridgeport and Armour Square been hit by two armed robberies just this week, police said.
In each the victims were robbed by a man or men who were armed, according to a Chicago Police community alert, but it wasn't immediately clear what weapon they were using.
The robberies occurred:
• Sunday evening in the 3000 block of South Wells Street in Armour Square
• Thursday morning in the 2800 block of South Normal Avenue in Bridgeport
Anyone with information about the robberies was asked to call police at 312-747-8382.
