Armed Robbers Holding Up People In Englewood, Police Say

CHICAGO — Two men are robbing people at gunpoint in Englewood, police said.

During two robberies, the men walked up to their victims, took out a gun and took the victims' property, according to a Chicago Police community alert.

The robberies occurred:

• 4 p.m. Nov. 25 in the 5700 block of South Marshfield Avenue

• 7 p.m. Dec. 2 in the 5800 block of South Paulina Street

The robbers were described as two black men who were 19-23 years old, police said. One of them was 6-foot and weighed 260 pounds, police said, and the other was 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9 and weighed 140-150 pounds.

Anyone with information about the robberies was asked to call police at 312-747-8273.
