CHICAGO — Canaryville has been hit by two armed robberies since the start of December, police said.
During the robberies, a man or men with a gun walked up to a victim and demanded the victim's property, according to a Chicago Police community alert.
The robberies occurred:
• 10:20 p.m. Dec. 3 in the 4300 block of South Wallace Street
• 10:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 4400 block of South Wallace Street
Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call police at 312-747-8382.
