By Kelly Bauer | October 12, 2016 3:14pm

CHICAGO — A shooting in Garfield Park left a 33-year-old man wounded on Wednesday morning, police said.

At 8:54 a.m., the man was in the 4300 block of West Jackson Boulevard when a black sedan pulled up and someone got out of the car, fired shots and then drove off, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was hit in his right forearm and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Tannehill said.

No one was in custody.
