Urban Prep Teacher, 29, Sexually Assaulted Student At School, Police Say

UNIVERSITY VILLAGE — An Urban Prep teacher has been charged with sexually assaulting two students, police said.

One student told police that he and teacher June Kendall, 29, "engaged in inappropriate acts" at Urban Prep's West campus, 1326 W. 14th Place, according to a Chicago Police news release. At the time the student was between ages 13-17, police said.

Kendall had sex with an Urban Prep student twice in her classroom during school hours this fall, according to the Chicago Tribune. Kendall sent two boys photos of herself, some in various states of undress, over Snapchat. 

Kendall, of the 4900 block of North St. Louis Avenue, has been charged with two counts of criminal sexual assault, police said.
