President Barack Obama Casts Vote During Chicago Visit

CHICAGO — President Barack Obama is in town this weekend for a trio of political fundraisers.

He also Barack'd the vote.

Obama cast his ballot at the Cook County Building, 69 W. Washington St., after touching down Friday afternoon near Soldier Field and headlining a lunchtime fundraiser at the home of news baron Fred Eychaner.

Obama told poll workers that they were doing "an outstanding job" and made a joke about his age, according to White House pool reporters.

"What's my date of birth? 8/4/81?," Obama asked, to which a poll worker replied "nice try," according to the report.

"I was just shaving a couple of decades off," Obama reportedly said.

The president from Chicago hinted to reporters earlier this week that he would vote during his trip home. Early voting began late last month at the county building.
