CHICAGO — West Pullman has been hit by three armed robberies recently, police said.
During the robberies, two to three black teens or men with a revolver walk up to a victim, rob the victim and then run away, according to a Chicago Police community alert.
The robberies occurred:
• 3 a.m. Sept. 20 in the 11700 block of South Halsted Street
• 11:15 p.m. Sept. 22 in the 700 block of West 126th Street
• 10:15 p.m. Friday in the 12000 block of South Carpenter Street
The thieves were described as being 16-25 years old, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-9 tall and 150-165 pounds, police said. They had various hairstyles, including dreadlocks, police said, and one of the thieves had a dark complexion and a tattoo on his right hand.
