NORTH MAYFAIR — North Mayfair has been biding its time all summer, waiting for the season's final weekend to unveil its first-ever neighborhood festival.

Cider And Sliders makes its debut noon-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, at Lawrence and Elston avenues.

As the name suggests, mini-burgers and hard ciders are the stars of the show here.

Stella Cidre will be available in the beer tent all weekend and special cider and wine tastings will be held 3-7 p.m. each day. For a $20 pass, available in advance online, fest goers can sample as many as 15 ciders and wines during the tasting.

General admission to the festival is a suggested donation of $5.

Bring the kids from noon-7 p.m. both days for activities including inflatables and face painting.

The music lineup includes performances from Boy Band Review and The Gingers.
