WEST LOOP — To celebrate its grand opening, Naf Naf Grill will be giving away free pita sandwiches in the West Loop on Thursday.

The fast casual restaurant specializing in Middle Eastern food will open on the ground floor of Presidential Towers at 14 S. Clinton St. on Thursday.

From 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday, Naf Naf Grill will be giving out free pita sandwiches, Naf fries and drinks to all customers.

Naf Naf Grill's menu features authentic Middle Eastern eats, including shawarma, falafel and oven-baked pitas and salads.

The new restaurant will be Naf Naf's 15th location in the Chicagoland area, including three Downtown locations. After securing private equity investment last summer, RIver North-based Naf Naf Grill aims to have 31 locations up and running by early 2017.

David Sloan, the company's co-CEO, said he never dreamed that their first restaurant, opened in a former Taco Bell restaurant in Naperville six years ago, would grow through the city, suburbs and beyond.

“We get just as excited about every new grand opening as we did with our first location. It never gets old," Sloan said. "We are totally pumped for the Presidential Towers location with its new look and feel."

The four towers at Presidential Towers house 2,346 rental apartments.
