BRIDGEPORT — This year at the Taste of Chicago, visitors from all over the city will have a chance to try some of the neighborhood's finest meals.
Here's a look at the Bridgeport restaurants you'll find at the Taste, starting at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Grant Park:
Connie’s Pizza, 2373 S. Archer Ave.
The legendary pizzeria will offer taste portions of its deep dish sausage pizza and meatball sandwich.
If you’re looking for some gooey, greasy goodness, pick up a portion of Ricobene’s breaded steak sandwich. The neighborhood favorite turned 40 this year.
Franco’s Ristorante, 300 W. 31st St.
This 31st Street classic will serve portions of its famed lemon and watermelon Italian ices.
Punky’s Pizza & Pasta, 2600 W. Wallace St.
And there’s no way you can pass up a chance to try this joint’s fried ravioli and eggplant parmigiana sandwich.
