Englewood Shooting Wounds 2 Men, Police Say

CHICAGO — Two men were shot and wounded in Englewood on Saturday, police said.

At 2 p.m., a 29-year-old man and 33-year-old man were walking in the 1200 block of West 71st Street when they heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The men were shot in their legs. They took themselves to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, Tannehill said.

The men were documented gang members, police said.

No one was in custody in the shooting.
