LINCOLN SQUARE — Lawrence Hall will be packing 100,000 meals to feed starving children across the world — but they need help to reach that goal.

Over the course of two days — July 13 and 14 — 500 volunteers will be pitching in alongside Lawrence Hall students during the MobilePack event, 4833 N. Francisco Ave.

All volunteer slots for the 13th have been filled but there are still openings on the 14th for shifts from 1 to 3 p.m., 6:30-8:30 p.m. and 8:30-10:30 p.m. Click here to sign up.

Adults and children age 8 and above are welcome to participate. Tasks will include measuring and scooping ingredients, sealing bags and preparing boxes for shipping.

The MobilePack event is being held in conjunction with the organization Feed My Starving Children, which provides meals to malnourished children in 70 countries around the world.
