LINCOLN SQUARE — Summer kicks into high gear this weekend with a full slate of outdoor fun.

• Get up and at it early on Saturday with the annual 47th Ward bike ride. Meet at 8:30 a.m. for tune-ups and a safety check at the Clark Park Boathouse, 3400 N. Rockwell St.

The ride sets out at 9 a.m.; all ages are welcome, and helmets are required. The leisurely 4-mile ride will wind its way through the ward and finish at the North Center farmers market.

• If you're not quite ready to roll through the city's streets, check out Jahn Elementary's free family bike fair, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, 3149 N. Wolcott Ave.

Activities include helmet and bike fitting, a bike safety rodeo, a family bike circus and tips for teaching kids to ride.

• Take a hike through "The Jungle Book" at Horner Park. Theater Hikes presents a free performance of the classic tale, 1 p.m., Saturday, 2741 W. Montrose Ave.

• Enjoy a movie under the stars.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" will play on the big screen at Gross Park, 8:30 p.m. Saturday at 2708 W. Lawrence Ave.

Or catch "A League of Their Own," 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Gompers Park, 4222 W. Foster Ave.

• Bonus indoor event: The Albany Park Supper Club will meet at Brazilian Bowl, 6 p.m. Sunday, 3200 W. Lawrence Ave.
