LINCOLN SQUARE — The battle for European futbol supremacy kicks off, literally, on Friday.

Euro 2016, the European championship, runs through July 10. While coverage might be scarce on major U.S. television networks, fans can catch matches on the big screen at DANK Haus — as long as Germany's playing.

The German American Cultural Center, 4740 N. Western Ave., will host viewing parties whenever the reigning World Cup champs take to the pitch. Admission is free, with food and drinks available for purchase.

Scheduled games (with potential playoff matches TBD).

• 2 p.m. Sunday: Germany vs. Ukraine.

• 2 p.m. Thursday: Germany vs. Poland.

• 11 a.m. June 21: Germany vs. Northern Ireland.

Doors open an hour in advance.
