CHICAGO — A 23-year-old man was shot in Fuller Park Sunday afternoon, according to police.

The man was in the 4400 block of South Wentworth Avenue at 3 p.m. Sunday when shots rang out, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.

He was struck in his left eye and his right leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, Quaid said.

The man is a documented gang member, according to police.

No arrests have been made, Quaid said.
